In general the '39 series cowl was standard through VC, VF, VK and WC series US Dodges and D series Canadian stuff, and sat at the same height for the 1/2 tons and 15 cwt canadian stuff.

There was a lot of effort put into lowering the profile of the trucks so in general the later trucks had the cowls lower round the chassis rails. Look for flat cab floors on the 1/2 tons and a transmission tunnel on a 3/4 ton to show you how much they were dropped, you can get some idea from the wrapper plate heights along underneath the doors too.
