I figured when I bought my '03 Ram in Nov. '02, that within a year or so the tire industry would produce a few more choices in 17" rim diameter. The Buckshot QR78 Gumbo Mudder is an excellent tire for snow and ice, if they made it in 17". I would even consider a larger rim if there were a tall, narrow, aggressive tire. I'm tired of floating around on winter roads. Good reason to buy a new Ford? Not really. JH
