"Rebuilt" includes "built" which is not the same as “restored”. Of course a “built” engine – or truck – can be better than a “restored” engine - or truck – which is only put back to the original condition.

I don’t know of any original 230 flatheads that were originally built in the 1950’s with 2005 technology and balancing.

That would require a time machine. If you have one, I’d sure like to go back to the 50’s and relive a few outstanding week-ends. And I’d buy a new POWER WAGON and store it in a building I know has survived to the present.
