I do not know where I got them. They are very common and not all that hard to find. The Old Car center (in Canada ) Pete and Jakes or any well equiped hot rod parts supplier should have them in stock.

Mine are in line and close to the master cylinder. Some master cylinders have these valves installed in them but I could not find out if I had them in the cyl or not. So I put them in the system. This resulted in less foot pedal travel and it sure felt safer.

I switched from Dot 5 to Dot 4 . Silicon brake fluid makes for a squishy brake pedal. Its great for gaskets and paint,but it comes with its own set of problems that i was not willing to live with.
