There are two ways....the legal way & the illegal way. The legal way is more hassle but if you have extra time it's not too bad.
The illegal way...just show up at the Canadian border & pay the 14% tax. They will give you all the paperwork to licence the truck & they don't care if you stop at US customs or not.
US Customs has a little different view however...if they catch you they fine you $500. They want you to bring them the Title, Bill of Sale etc & leave it with them for 72hrs (3 business days) before exporting the vehicle.
They'll let you fax them to them but often you don't have a Title or Bill of Sale until you get to the truck & pay the owner.
I'd just fax them the info they want...the rest is easy Bruce.
Be extra extra sure the VIN tag matches the Title or they won't let it in.
