The original J.C. Penney store is still located in Kemmerer, Wyoming. Kemmerer is truly Power Wagon country located on the Hamm's Fork of the Black's Fork of the Green River at the southern end of the Wyoming Range. I've found several Power Wagons there, including a '47 WDX that I bought years ago. Their winters are even worse than here in Evanston, Wyo.
