Good point Paul.
Like many rural areas, we have a volunteer rescue squad, with people of varying levels of training/equipment. THey are very dedicated and we are lucky to have them, but I wonder if they have all the most up to date equipment, like the MAST pants.
This equipment would obviously help prevent a drstic drop in blood pressure and thus organ failure/severe shock (and death) when the vehicle is lifted off.
