My Dad had a 1978 Ramcharger, bought new, that had Plymouth Trailduster badging on the rear gate. He checked the build date with the dealer, and found out the truck was built the Friday before Memorial Day weekend. Our guess was someone ran out of Dodge badges on the line towards the end of the day, didn't feel like walking down the line to get more, and stuck the Plymouth badge on it, and probably a few more, to finish out the day.
