The F800 with cummings does get better mileage towing a BIG load then the F350 does, however we are talking in excess of 34,000 pounds if I load only my trailer with the F800, if I drive down with the pickup I can get fairly good mileage, and spend the extra it would take to FILL the semi (48ft). By filling the semi (lots more then my 36 ft trailer can handle) I save on shipping by spreading it out on more product. Also saving me from having to run the gauntlet of DOT scales from there to here, freeing me up on the liability of something falling off the trailer and somone sueing me.

And most important, the shipper lives only ten miles away and I get a very good deal on milage, less then $1 a mile no matter the weight.
