Hello all. I've got a Few PW questions. First some back round on myself. I'm not completly new to PW's as I owned an M37 15 years ago and do know a bit about those particular trucks. I have owned several Dodge trucks since and currently own and am selling a '53 Fargo 2 ton in original complete near perfect condition. (Has great running 251 CID, 5 spd-OD trans, 2 speed rear and PTO w/ dual hyd. hoist. Included are MANY spare parts). Anyway here is my PW questions. I recently located a Dodge WC 51 and a WC 52. The WC 51 is strictly a parts truck as it is quite thrashed. The WC 52 how ever has what appears to be a civilian PW cab in place of it's open cab. I don't recall WC 3/4 tons having a closed cab. Am I correct? It has retained it's original WC military box and has a gin pole mounted on the front along with a set of holmes twin boom wrecker hoists mounted in the back. The truck is in very good condition and was put together nicely. It does not run but is rather complete. Would it be reasonable to attempt to remove the wreckers/gin pole and keep it as a pick up or is it to big a project? Thanks for any advice. By the way I'm in Canada.
