Just got an email from Bjorn about his fording experiences and thought that I would post it hear since we had a short discussion on the previous forum...

"The biggest consequence of fording anything deeper than "axle deep" is the checking and repacking of the wheel bearings, there is no other way to know if water did or did not mix with the bearing grease. The brake components all have to be cleaned as well, especially if fording flood water, which is
loaded with fine silt.
The material for the "Fording part 2" article was submitted to John Adams-Graf several weeks ago (editor of MVMagazine), so it's up to him now. It may be in the next issue of MVM, I don't know."
