My Makita has served me well for quite a few years in average home steel project use, since maybe 1991?
I'd go for a Milwaukee if I had the choice though. I used their Hole Shooters and drills for 30+ years and found them to be THE industrial drill motors. Parts are readily available, as are service centers too.
