There is an ongoing problem with certain vendors trying to say that the master cylinders for clutch and brake were superceded so that one mater fits both applications. THIS IS NOT CORRECT!

There is a difference in length of bore between the clutch and slave master, and a difference in diameter of bore on some. You must use a different master for clutch and brake. It's nearly impossible to properly bleed the brake master for use as a clutch master due to pushrod stroke length.

Maybe it's the other way around, as clutch used for brake, not sure....but it does not work. Been there, and with about 3 years of misery afterwards. Went to a Napa that knew what was going on and got comped for the foulup: free replacement.

I'm sorry I don't have any part numbers, as my receipts wore out the carbons [nice trick, Napa].
