Been driving my recently completed (well almost) 1/2 ton WC-12 project when and where ever I can get the chance, to get more familiar with it and what might need ADDITIONAL ATTENTION, TWEEKS, ETC, ETC.
up until today, it was no more than a total
5-10 miles round trip, staying in the immeddiate area, and right back home for the "ole Girl" to get her rest!
Today, I took her on a decent long trip, (well like 20-25 miles or so round trip) to see some freinds.
She performed well, drove nicely, and was a pleasurable cruise!
I had a ball! Some traffic, mostly secondary roads, as well as some older roads with some scenery and winding back country roads.
She was at home on the latter, gearing up and down the winding paths.
What a great day..
Forgot what a treat it was to own a closed cab truck when the weather got cooler!
I beleve that the 1945 MB will be up for sale now. I truly prefer the Dodge 1/2 ton.
Now, for those anjnoying clunks, the fule guage that doesnt work yet, gotta add those blackout lights, etc.,
Ahh... what a truck!!!
