I never reply to any spam email, because the last thing I want is for the spammers to know my email address is good. I go to the spoof web page whose link is in the email. I watch the browser URL bar to see if anything funny's going on there. I would not be surprised if they gather my IP address when I enter the bogus data on their page, but since I just use a dialup connection with dynamic IP addresses, I don't think that's worth much to them. Maybe my game will come back to bite me someday, but in the mean time I like to think I'm at least wasting as much of their time as they did of mine.
