Starting Problem...

Hello,
I am having trouble starting my Power Wagon if it is not ran every day. Like I said, if I start it every day if fires right up. But, if I let it sit for two or more days I need to pour gas down the carb and then it starts right up. I installed an electric fuel pump, should I run my machnical one also? Any ideas??? Thanks
