Dealers have no allocations at this time. My dealership is working with the district Sales Manager. My order is going into the system with the hope that it will be processed into a build order.
The POWER WAGON run will be sequentially numbered. The POWER WAGON option package is about $6300 over the base Ram 2500 4x4. Only the automatic 5-speed will be offered initially.
I am very happy with my 2001 Ram 2500, 2WD with the Cummins and 5 speed manual transmission. It has the original equipment Jacobs exhaust brake and an Edge chip. It has less than 35,000 miles. It is set up for my gooseneck, 42 foot hauler and carries two trucks with ease. I'll have to sell both of them. The new POWER WAGON is a Quad Cab with the short bed and will not be very suitable for pulling the big trailer.
I have plenty of POWER WAGONs for going off road. So why am I getting a new one?
I may not be manly enough for this Forum. I must admit that it is my wife who is insisting on it. "After I let you build that new 3000 square foot steel building for your POWER WAGON collection, you better not be parking anything in there but a POWER WAGON. And it's about time you got a truck with an automatic transmission so I can drive it! If you won't get one, then you can just go live with one of those weirdo guys from California that you drug in here."
Some of you know Kathy and understand why I am complying with her wishes. I would appreciate any messages of sympathy because this whole thing has me feeling - well, you know.
