The box was made by Gemmer and was simular to the car PS gears of the era but very different also. The major differance in years was with the early trucks 1956-58 used a seperate pump [Vickers] mounted with or with out the governer on the top pass. side of the engine. The later trucks 1959-60 used the generator driven pump. The standard Power Giant trucks with power steering [2 or 4 wheel drive]used a seperate pump with V8 and a gen driven pump on the L-6
