I have a stock WC-52 that has been on many trails, I will say though, I do not beleive it would climb some of the grades in Moab, (with the single speed transfer case) so, if you are going to run the WC in Moab, I strongly suggest at least the old 1.5:1 or a later 1.96:1 transfer case so you can get low range,,the grades are better than 100% (45 degrees) You may be able to back up them like I have in my WC-52 on occaision, but the straight first gear is a little too high for some of the grades, in fact, the WC-63 I took this trip was in low range (1.5:1) most the time even though I did not need the front axle engaged, but it could not pull the grades in direct first gear! The other consideration is adding an electric fuel pump in line with the mechanical one so you woun't stall on steep grades. My 6x6 has a non-stock 50 gallon tank mounted behind the cab so I did not add an extra pump, and it did work just fine. I will be looking forward to seeing you in Moab spring of 2006!!!
