I check the voltage with the ignition on. I had 6 volts at the distrib side of the coil and 1.5 volts at the ign side of the coil. I then turned the engine a little and the ignition side then read 0 volts. So the points and capacitor seem to be working.

What should the voltage read on the ignition side with the ignition turned on??

I pulled the cap and everything was nice and clean and dry it might not hurt to sightly sand the points with some 400. Dwell was OK 4 monts ago.
