Weak Spark??

Tried to start the 52 ff yesterday. It would not go. Appears to be a spark issue. Primed the carb several times which gets it going after sitting for a long time. This time it did not even kick. I checked the distributor and it was clean with no corrosion. Pulled the coil wire and had the wife turn it over. I got a weak spark. Not really impressive. I measured the voltage on the coil it read 6 volts on the distribuitor side and 1.5 volts on the ignition side. This seems to be a quite a voltage drop. It this typical or is the coil bad as I suspect.

The truck did run well when I parked it 5 weeks ago. Suspect an electrial issue rather than a gas issue since I place gas in the air horn and got no response at all.
