The WDX arrived about 2:30 this afternoon. All went well. It was kinda sad to see it being pulled in by a (eeek gasp!) Ford! But it made it home good. After he left, I tried to get it running ,but the starter is fried. I know the starter was going bad years ago when I first looked at it, but I was hoping to atleast get it to turn over a couple times. No biggie. I will probably pull the starter tomorrow and tear it down and rebuild and clean it. The truck is quite complete, but at the same time, a major project if I ever do a full restoration on it. I did find it has some neat goodies on it, It has an oil filter, It has a Mico Brake lock on it, a 10K Garwood PTO Winch mounted in the front of the bed. The cool light bar, the plow, and the frame has been heavily reinforced. The truck has rust, but it is solid and sturdy enuff to build on. Heck, even the horn works! I basically plan to get it running to use it around the yard for a couple years, as I dont have an indoor shop to where I can take on a major tear down project. Now the fun starts!
