I fell sorry for the guy, Harry, who is losing 10 Grand.
I have had storage agreements gone a bit sour a time or two, and they eventually worked themselves out. I dont see that the small outdoor space needed to store a vehicle is that big a deal to cost a man $10K. Especially if you have 40 acres.
There is a 60 Ford 4x4 at my house, has been there for 2-3 years. I sold it to a guy and dont really charge him anything to leave it there. It does not bother me.
He calls ever so often to insure he will get it, and I tell him not to worry.
Mark, I think you posted it here to cover your rear, legally, dont you have to post something in a media before you are able to do what you are doing?
I think the guy would come for the truck eventually, and you could square up on storage recover costs at that time. I think you obviously have a lot to gain here, and that is your current motivation.
