I did some research, it appears that it had the NP119, same as the Grand Wagoneer, a modified "Quadratrac" type unit without the automatic third differential. They called it Select Trac which is what they now call the NP241. It had a "Shift-on-the-fly" vacuum disconnect front axle. But some models required a full stop before shifting into 4x4, couldn't find any info on that transfer case.
