This has been discussed at length in some of the previous forums.
The consensus I took from it was that re-arching alone does not do any good, as it will not last.
I had my front (flatfender) springs rearched and had another leaf added to maintain the arch.
I went to a spring shop that specialized in springs and drive shafts for all types of vehicles including big trucks.
