Site seems okay to me, though it's slow waiting for all the pictures to load. A good web page, should not have lots of big pictures embedded in it, but should have small (10K-20K) thumbnails that link to full-size pictures . There's nothing a bad website can do that could make your computer hang if the browser is decent. Something is wrong with your computer if it hangs. If you're still using IE, try Mozilla - faster and less buggy. Mozilla usually shows you all the text on a page before it starts loading the pictures, whereas IE usually waits until everything's loaded before it shows you anything, which is much much slower when it's a page with lots of big pictures in it like this one.
