This is one Republican that agrees with you on this one. The closness of the race makes it clear that Bush has no clear mandate from the people for his policies. I voted against Bush on this election because he stepped over the line on Iraq. Looking back at Viet Nam, I can see a lot of similarities. I am waiting for my job to go overseas and I feel ashamed that we are handing the bill for all of this mess to our children to pay. People think that our country can not go bankrupt, but it is entirely possible with bad decisions and reckless kneejerk reactions costing trillions of dollars (long term) not to mention the many lives of our brave soldiers.
I am not a big Kerry fan either, but he was closer to "getting it" than Bush. Its a shame Ross Peroit went nuts or we might have had a viable reform party at this point in history for those of us who would like to choose "none of the above".
I for one hope your son comes home soon safe and sound and I am sure he will have a lot of stories to tell. I would be interested in his opinon of how things are looking over there. I trust reports from soldiers more than the nightly news.
I haven't heard of any Senator's sons serving over there on the front lines. I guess thats not proof one way or the other, but I would be interested to know.
Dodge content, my poly 318 is knocking now even on light load in 3rd gear. Is the timing too advanced?
