Hi Tim,
You install the balls in the return guides and ball nut, putting equal number of balls in each circuit of the guides. Then install return guide clamp and screw. Don't rotate the worm shaft while installing the balls as they may end up in the crossover passage between circuits, which causes incorrect operation of ball recirculation.
