This is not a political post, so please do not respond with who you think is good or bad!

Vote for the person of your choice, but VOTE!

Be aware of your polling place, and the rules you need to follow in your state to make sure your vote is counted. (Please do not start a thread about how screwed up the polling might be, just VOTE!)

If you have any questions there are many sources of info, and plenty of people willing to help you figure out where, and how to vote. Your local library can be a good source if you have questions, if they can not answer your question, they should be able to direct you to the correct people to ask.

Remember, this is the one thing you need to do to make your voice heard in this country, so do not let long lines, broken machines, or some other problem prevent you from voting.

Make sure your friends, family, and others in your life take the time to vote today. Help those who can not get to the polls on their own, do you have a disabled neighbor? How are they going to get to vote? Find out, and help out if you can.

Voting is not just a right, it is our DUTY as citizens!

If you can not vote, (Citizen of some other country, etc) make sure those you know who can vote do Vote!

Also, be kind to the Volunteers at your polling place, most of them are doing the very best they can, and long lines, broken machines, etc, are not their fault! The little old ladies at my polling place did a great job today, and I am grateful for their service!

Make the time to vote today, I know we can see a better turnout then we have had in years past!

Eric
P.S. I voted about 1:30pm Central time, and I did not have to wait in line.
