The axles float freely held in by the rods that go from the center of the spring bracket to the outside end of the axles. The axle is not solidly connected to the ends of the leaf spring. It is allowed to slide over the spring with a rectangular bracket which is on the top side of the axle. The springs are connected to the truck at the center of the spring with a huge bracket. This bracket connects the spring to the truck, and the rods to the axles. The huge U-shaped bar connects the two huge side brackets together. The axles are set up on the springs like a see saw . The center of the see saw is like the center bracket . This set allows the truck to stay level driving over large obstacles by letting one set of wheels and axle to be pressed up tight in the wheel well while the other set of wheels and axle hang down below the wheel well.
