I believe if you disconect the battery and leave it for a while the computer will lose that code. I think also that the computer must learn all over again so the truck may not run right for a little while. It could be a sensor, oxygen sensor, or maybe it has a bad plug wire. around here in CT some of those chain parts stores will put there plug in code reader on it for free, just beware they are not the most skilled at trouble shooting
