It will be hard to prove that pin did the damage. Most likely it would fall into the bottom of the pan. Find the pin and see if it was ground up or damaged in any way it could have scored the block. I could see maybe the Cam Lobe being damaged by the arm flopping around but not the cylinder wall. Let us know what they find out. Mark H.
