The first round goes to the stump!

One of my projects this weekend is to pull 2 stumps and fill in a low spot next to my driveway. When I got home from the site today I thought what the hey, lets see about pulling the stumps today. Chained off to a big Hemlock about 50 feet from the stumps, chauned a snatch block to the stump, ran the cable through the block and back to a tow hook and let-er rip. The stump didnt budge, and thats when the cable snapped. I will loosen them up with the backhoe tomorrow and give it another shot with the winch.
