When I installed my Cummions 4BTA in the Carryall, Cummins Northeast told me to be sure to run a seperate fuel return line from the injector pump back to the fuel tank. They said do not simply T into the fuel line coming from the tank. I honestly forget what they said the reason was, but they told me it was important. Be sure your fuel cap is a venting type.
