All my trucks are Blasted with Black Beauty to shinny steel. Then Pickle X 20 is sprayed on and wipped of in 3 minutes. After a day for the Pickle X to totally dry, I shoot PPG MP-170 Epoxy Primer. This is followed by PPG MOA Hardened Chassis Black.
The chassis black when cured has a finish between satin and semi gloss, hard as nails.
I just dont have any faith in painting any thing over rust, I am probably to old to accept the new technology paint for rust.
