I know it won't last, but I think it will buy me a little time, I'm only looking for a couple of years. I'm only trying to stop (Or drastically slow down) the transfer case leak for now. I plan on pulling the Transfer case apart in a couple of years and going through it and replacing the worn components.

So, I used a couple of thin coatings of JB Weld to build up the groove in the yoke. I've files and sanded it down, level and smooth. Know I know JB Weld isn't a hard epoxy, and will wear faster than the steel, but felt it will buy me a little time.

I'm also installing a new seal and roller bearing as well. I can of course do both of these with out tearing down the transfer case, but it's also not the proper way to do the repair.

So, anyone else have any experience in doing something like this with JB Weld? Thoughts or comments?

Thanks,
Will
