Well the simple answer is, no.

Are you sure the plate is missing? Some early trucks have the tag on the passenger side (wouldn't that make your job easy!).

If the tag is missing (which I would not be surprised by), then the frame is your only option.

The frame extensions to not normaly come back that far, did you look at the frame number location on the help pages?

Maybe the number is beyond the extensions?

If not, then the only thing you can do is get a guy who is good with a torch or grinder, or plasma cutter, and get the plates removed so you can access the number.

Do you have any of the other numbers? The body tag should get you close on the year, as would an original engine number.

If you can get the last few digits of the VIN, and the body tag, I might be able to figure out your whole VIN number.

I think you could add your truck with the body tag number if that is all you could find.

It would not be in order with the rest of the trucks, but it would at least be added.
