Suggested machine work, hot tank, check all clearances and tolerances, hone/bore cylinders as required, use a Chris Nielson Poly cam and lifters, the machine shop will install the cam bearings for you at the same time they perform the other work, check heads, new valves and seats with a 3 angle valve job, check valve springs, replace timing chain with a Mopar Performance double roller, install a Mopar Performance electronic ignition kit, use the Wieand 4 bbl intake or search e-bay for a factory 4bbl intake, headers, Mopar Performance hi-output 318LA oil pump (it's the stock Poly pump from the 60's), new rings and bearings, and you're ready to roll.
