There is no reason to change axles just to cruise at 60. I have original axles in my 42 WC (Carrall) and they do just fine cruising at 70 to 75 MPH. I just took it on a 200 mile trip and crusised at 70 to 75 half the time. Just be sure to make sure that you have rebuilt all the steering components and that everything is nice and tight. Once that is done it will do fine down the road. My carryall tracks very straight down the road and does not wander at all. The only comment that I have is that you might think that it tends to understeer if you are use to power steering. Make sure to put disc brakes on the front axle the original brakes fade too much. As far as bearings, the PW has no problem in that area. I have 4.89 gears in my truck.
