Lay a straight edge the length of the manifold on the port flanges to see if any adjustment is neccesary. If a .010 feeler gauge will pass between the manfold flange and straight edge, loosen the 4 bolts and adjust the manifolds. The stud holes at each end of the exhaust manifold are enlarged for expansion. The four chamfered washers and tappered slotted nuts go on those studs. Torgue the nuts 15 - 20 feet pounds. The repair manual does not indicate a sequence is used.
