Looking closely at the hub it looks like the studs are rusted on the inside which means that they were fractured quite a while ago. There does not seem to be any clean break suraces on any of the studs. Is this my imagination or what. The next question is what was used to tighten the nuts down. Wonder if they were over torqued which lead to the failure. Glad nothing happened but all Heck could have.
