Hi Dan,
On my 60 WM300 once I drilled the rivets on each side they came apart. I took them to a shop that works on old gauges and they told me those type of rivets were not available anymore. So, I took the outside trim and had it powder coated along with several other things from inside the truck. I painted the inside plate myself. I used the original hardware to replace it on the dash and you cannot tell that the rivet is missing. But, take the bolt out and they will fall apart. :-)
