Was in town picking up allmost 2,000 lbs of flour and noticed the School Buses leaving!! Since I drive a School Bus it must have been a early out day and I forgot! I have to meet a Bus up by my house so I had to push the M-37 to the max to get home. For 12 miles I had it floored pulling a very steep hill in 3rd and 4th the same hill I have to use those gears on any way to get up it. Those 5.83 gears worked great temp stayed at 160 degs the whole time and I mean it was floored pedel to the metal using all the HP it could put out! So I guess every thing is set right now and the Flat Head can still do it's job if needed. Still did not get home in time to get the kids and they were droped off by the Bus I meet so I will here about it in the morning. I passed the bus at about 40+ and he wanted me to stop, boy it took a while going down hill for those brakes to do it I just blew by him. I will have to remember that when loaded down it take a lot longer to stop then empty on a panic stop!! Mark H.
