I have previously owned a WC54 3/4 TON AMB
and a WC18 1/2 Ton Amb, and both had verticle support braces which if I recall
were steel stock, either I-beam or T-beam
running from floor to top inside of the roof, welded to the inside of the ambulance
body sheet metal walls. I sold my WC54 to a man in Baytown, Texas. The WC54 I sold him
had all the original wallboard, and it was fibreboard like the brown 1/4 inch thick stuff sold at home depot which is dark brown. If you want to speak to him, email me off line and I will give you his name and phone number. Perhaps he can make you a pattern.
