find the dist used on the larger v-8 chryslers used in military applications. its a 361 you are looking for. they were used in apcs. it can be modified to use in the 318 /360 with waterproof mil wires and plugs. buy a 12v coil from john bizal that replaces the mseries 24v coil. use marine gm one wire alternator & do a carb & snorkel or a simple efi system. i was going to do the above on my helitooled m37, but after thinking about decided that vintage iron is too valuable to go dunking in water. my engine was a rebuilt 360 from a little red express truck and i did a one wire alt, pertronix and a new edelbrock carb to keep it dead simple and perform well. buy a m715 or some other lesser vehicle to go swimming.
