The lever (which I have never seen on a dodge, only a jeep) takes the tension off the fan belt, therefore eliminating the fan issue. Oil fill and dipstick tube on most M37s are sealed,also all the vents from the diffs, T and T are routed to the intake on M37s. M37 also has water proof generaor and regulator. Buy books and do research, then you will really know the details
