There were plenty of heros that day. Some in the air, many on the ground. The chapter isnt yet complete either, as every military person serving is doing so with spirit born from that day.
Im a senior chief officer in a major fire department that responded to the Pentagon. We also sent folks to New York. I was there on the grounds and can tell you there were indeed local heros, represented by fire, EMS, law enforcement, military, and other professions. Even more so, there were plenty of heros drawn from the ranks of the civilians that reponded to help along side the public servants.
Chris, perhaps you simply mis-represented your thought or position. On the other hand, if what you said is what you ment, I pitty your narrow vision and lack of understanding.
