The shim washers or spacers go between the side gears and the pinion thrust block, right? The ones circled in red?
They recently shaved .003 off those spacers to accomodate differential cases that were a little smaller. I've tried both sizes of spacer. I'm wondering if I need to add thicker thrust washers if my differentail case is too wide. I am currently using steel .046" thrust washers and all new side gears and pinion cross shafts.
