I have some questions on currently available gasoline and original military M37 fuel pumps.

I would like to rebuild an original military M37 fuel pump for my truck with the help of my Father-In-Law. Is the currently available gasoline harmful to the diaphragm or any other parts? Is there a brand of gasoline that is more M37 friendly than others?

Where is the best place to obtain a rebuild kit from and is there a better brand you would recommend over others?
