I assume it's an M35 if it's a multi-fuel. $3000 for a good M35 with a winch is a screamin' deal even with out the fire apparatus. I've never seen one that old converted to multi-fuel, but I suppose it's possible. Is it a Reo? Presumably they also upgraded the lights and mirrors to modern standards. APB will give you good advice, and I'll be happy to help any way I can as well. I have two good driver M35s, two that drive but aren't fit for the highway, and the residue of a '52 gasser pole-setting truck. I bought our county's old M211 brush fire truck last year, but am still learning about M211s. As usual with them, the transmission's funky.
